Dr. Annelene Dethlefsen

Physicist, Material Compliance Officer (TÜV)

Born on a North Sea island, I wanted to stand on my own two feet as quickly as possible and I decided to do a commercial apprenticeship.

After many years in the commercial field, the desire grew to try something fundamentally new. First the German "Abitur" had to be completed at the evening school, but then the time had come: I could start studying physics.

After obtaining a PhD in physics from the Institute for Solid State Physics at the University of Hamburg, I have more than 20 years of work experience in several university labs and companies in Germany and abroad, allowing me to acquire a very good knowledge in material science and material compliance.

Founded on the work experiences made in different branches of industry, I wanted to bring these into my own company and make my knowledge available to companies in a targeted manner. Since I enjoy dealing with people, I am always happy to have personal contact with my customers.

The topic of material compliance is one of the most important topics for me: This is where I make my contribution to people, the environment and nature, so that less and less dangerous substances can be used in the future and can get into our environment.

In order to further expand my professional competence, I have completed intensive training to become a certified "Material Compliance Officer (TÜV)". I am structured, have a lot of experience in project management and have strong analytical skills. Having spent several years abroad, my English language skills are business fluent.
